Motion on unidentifiable sooty particulate in Rivers State and its environs. The motion presented on Tuesday, 28th February 2017 drew government’s attention to droppings of unidentifiable sooty particulates in Rivers State, which is suspected to be after effects of oil and gas exploration and exploitation activities in the state by multi-national companies. The motion was sponsored by Senator George Thompson Sekibo (Rivers East) with 30 other senators as co-sponsors.
